After postponing the traditional January competition, the 2022 Westminster Dog Show returns this year on FOX and related apps as well as being livestreamed at westminsterkennelclub.org from Saturday, June 18 to Wednesday, June 22, 2022.

What is the Westminster Dog Show?
Officially known as the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, it’s the second-longest, continuously held sporting event in the U.S., second only to the Kentucky Derby. Since 1948, it’s also been the longest nationally televised live dog show. With those impressive credentials, you’d expect a stellar lineup and the Westminster Dog Show won’t disappoint.
To make it as far as the show, dogs already have to be American Kennel Club champions and will be judged in one of seven categories – Sporting, Hound, Working, Terrier, Toy, Non-Sporting and Herding. The winning seven dogs then go on to compete for the coveted title of Best in Show.

The action kicks off on Saturday 18 June at 8am with the Masters Agility Championship. The All Breed Dog Show itself runs from 8am on Monday 20 June to 11pm on Wednesday 22 June.
